⁸⁵ The arrogant have ^(A)dug pits for me,
Men who are not ^[a]in accord with Your law.
⁸⁶ All Your commandments are ^(B)faithful;
They have ^(C)persecuted me with a lie; ^(D)help me!
⁸⁷ They almost destroyed me ^[b]on earth,
But as for me, I ^(E)did not forsake Your precepts.
